I shuddered, and braced myself for who might come through that door. My mind was filled of images of General Lovok. Even though he was long dead, maybe one of his descendants had taken control. No doubt any leader or high ranking official of the Court would be just as battle-hardened and cruel. Chills ran up and down my arms. The Faerie opened the door, and inside was a shocked looking Faerie who was minding his own business, his butt plopped onto the toilet as he was taking a dump.
