fuck i have so much love and appreciation for this book. reading it for a second time makes me love it even more. there are also SO MANY references to monty's ptsd that i didn't notice the first time through (this is mostly for the earlier sections tho, it got a bit more explicit at this point) but just. bravo mackenzi lee. bravo for dealing with ptsd so well while also making my heart hurt. i love this book.
