It’s very interesting. Adding a human child into a perfect world has created a mental imbalance among those who had been charged with bringing the Earth into balance. This is the first human child in centuries and the erta are baffled and disturbed by its behavior. Ima, chosen to raise this child, is beginning to understand why humans were so different.

Current impression is positive. The existence of the ents, their purpose, and what comes next are all intriguing. Also, while maybe it shouldn’t matter, the dedication to the author’s son was heartwarming
