I've hit a brick wall again. Ugh.
My audiobook version of this had to be returned to the library and I have no willpower to actually read my ebook copy! I should get the audiobook back in two weeks so maybe I'll be able to finish it up.

So far, so good.

I actually got to 50% a few weeks ago. I was really enjoying this but just stopped reading it for some reason. I hope to get back to it soon.

This is going to be a long one...

very little progress, though I'm dying to get back into reading it. Lots of stuff going on right now that makes it so I can't get much reading done.

Going a little slower than I'd like, but I'm really enjoying this one so far. It's rare that I don't have any idea what's going to happen in a book before I start it. All I knew about this one is that maybe it involves a thief because of the title and cover art and that the main character may not be straight. It's a lot of fun going in blind sometimes and it's really paying off now.

After a couple stutters over the last week or two, I think I've finally found a book to catch my interest.

I'm not having as much fun as I was earlier, but it's still an entertaining read. I'd be surprised if this ends up with more than 3 stars from me though. We'll see :)

I used to read only Star Wars novels for years. And one day I decided they were getting old and just not interesting. It's been years since I've read one and I was scared to give this one a try since I figured it'd be more of the same. Well, it is. But it's a lot of fun. Maybe I just needed that long break :)

This book is really feeling a lot like a one character Lord of the Rings. The Green Rider must carry a message a long ways through a forest while being pursued by a dark rider and minions. Along the way she meets clearly magical people who give her gifts to help her on her way. She uses one of these gifts to summon help when she's caught in a giant spiderweb.
Interesting to see the parallels, and a fun book so far

Huge progress today! Am I finally out of my reading slump I've been in for a year? I hope so.
In any case, I'm really enjoying this book and I was a little iffy about it to begin with. The cover art and the synopsis do not make it look particularly interesting. But, it's pretty dang enjoyable so far.
