Status Update

Seth is 42% done

Huge progress today! Am I finally out of my reading slump I've been in for a year? I hope so.
In any case, I'm really enjoying this book and I was a little iffy about it to begin with. The cover art and the synopsis do not make it look particularly interesting. But, it's pretty dang enjoyable so far.

Seth is 50% done

This book is really feeling a lot like a one character Lord of the Rings. The Green Rider must carry a message a long ways through a forest while being pursued by a dark rider and minions. Along the way she meets clearly magical people who give her gifts to help her on her way. She uses one of these gifts to summon help when she's caught in a giant spiderweb.
Interesting to see the parallels, and a fun book so far
