breaks in voice that I wish she’d lean in to: the bit about the intimacy of D&D, where is that coming from? because it’s not outside Sam’s perspective / also noting the laptop is 20 lbs, that’s something that’s distinctive *now* but wasn’t *then*.

(these aren’t transgressions, they’re just slight flaws that could be strengths)
