This section of the book is beautiful and sad. I feel my eyes welling up even though things aren’t technically sad. It’s the beauty and the transience of what they have. They two of them struggling. The absolute wonder of this book is the unsaid and understated. If you need the story spoonfed - if the author has to dump everything in your lap - this isn’t the book for you.
