Not sure that I would be in the mood for it, I was reluctant to start but now I'm glad that I did.

Ok oopsy. I've read this before. I wonder if this is another Goodreads failure or if I just didn't mark it off as read.

Maybe I'm suffering from series fatigue. We're through the gate so I should be thrilled, but instead I'm all like "can't we just stop making factions and stop fighting each other long enough to go explore the damn galaxy."

I'm too much of a Trekker, probably. A goddamn idealist. But maybe I should have just read a few happy Star Treks in the middle of this series.

It is a good story.

I had better stop wishing that this series would leave our solar system and travel on through the ring gate. Of course it makes sense after the tumultuous events of book 5 that in book 6 we would be stuck here to find out how it plays out in the aftermath.

I'm beginning to think that reasons to focus on the Sol system will persist unti lthe series ends.

A bit of a slow start but absolutely afire now that we're through the ring.

“Yes,” Bobbie said, glancing at the Buddha in his shrine. He smiled at her serenely. Just one of the team, his round face seemed to say. “Yes it is.”

just guessing about half way. I've been listening to this on the drive to and fro school and boy it's a tough listen.

Past halfway and loving this story.

About that many pages in and enjoyable but not thrilling yet. Picked this series as my travel companions.

Enjoying more than anticipated.
