I think this is a great first book. And a companion, it would need to go deeper into the different issues that people are dealing with and how to overcome those specific issues in situations.

The murderer was a sufficient surprise. The Aunt Cora character is a bit too convenient and over played. This book would have been much better with much less recap from previous books.

The murder weapon, though ... meh

What a long story, though it did not need to be! Then, the climax of the story was a glimpse into his mind of horror. It was surprising, though it shouldn’t have been. Then it crashed back down.

I’m SO glad that I listened to the abridged version. There were one or two funny parts. The rest was kind of manic. Just not my cup of tea.

For most of this book, I was certain that it was a 3. Then, it all turned on it’s head and was suddenly a 4!

WHY is there so much foul language in this one?! It is completely out of character for this author and I really don't like it. I plan to to finish the book, but I'm less than pleased with all of the f-bombs dropped already.

It's a good one so far. A few slow parts. Ready to get back to the present and find out how it all ends.

I'm really ready to finish this book.
