ALSO THE HINT AT THE PREGNANCY IN THE EPILOGUE. IM SCREAMING. but overall. i fuckin LOVED this series and it made me SO HAPPY AND IT HAD JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF 🌶👀.

okay so thanks to the weird malaki knows who des is. des found out he has a human mate. he wasn’t here for it. he took AN OATH to never tell anyone. they became soldiers so they can get to the king and kill him. des met a human prostitute. talked to her. the ambush happened. malaki got the scar. he got it to save des. des killed janus’ twin and the human girl died and des cried and swore to love his human mate.

okay so his moms death. broke me. like i knew it was coming. but oh my god. it hurted. also just knowing more about him and like reading in his pov omg. i’m like LIVING. also LOVE what he did to the old leader of angels of small death. and YEEE i can’t wait to read more🥺

okay des’ dad’s back. the thief of souls WAS possessing the green man. I WAS RIGHT. i feel bad for mara, but she had it coming. CALLIE DIED. DES BROUGHT HER BACK BY GIVING HER THE LILAC WINE. the ending hinted that she ain’t happy ahout that. but i mean did she expect des to let her die?! also her wings, claws and scales are gone :( i’m hoping they aren’t like permanently gone. and THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK.
