It's funny that in my review for the first volume I mentioned how it was a lot less international espionage-y than the original run, and then I start volume 2 to find the first issue is written by John Ostrander and within about five pages it feels like I'm right back to the original, story-wise.
Not a complaint.

Obviously this run is based pretty much entirely on the movie, but since the movie was a weird mashup of OG Suicide Squad and the New 52 Squad it's still an odd combination.
Although it'd be hard to be worse than the movie, so like...going in open-minded.
