this started really good but then it turned into Asimov End of Eternity retelling

idk why i keep listening to this series, but i guess it's ok for cleaning the apartment xD

decided to revisit this again 10 years later

I’m loving this book so far, but the parts narrated in the second person are driving me nuts 😅

Binge reading Efremov, comparing to how it was when I first read these as a teen

omg this book is going and going and i'm so confused and it makes no sense

I read previous books of this series in Russian translation, but decided to check the English one for this to see the difference...and I must say its been very disappointing, all the humor and details are gone, no wonder the books only picked up after the game release (opposed to the Russian ones that started to get translated back in the 90s) so back to Russian translation for me

Idk I guess I wanted to listen to something light while working, and the Russian names attached me, but I didn't realize this is YA and now I just can't stop facepalming through it.

seems like every heartbroken man read this book, so i finally decided to see whats up with it xD

I'm not much of a biography reader...but this one..can't stop. Found out so much interesting stuff...

Reading for the second time <3 Now I have an actual paper copy and I am very prepared to have a full experience on my second reading. Have a book playlist ready, cooked gluhwein, got a pack of cigarettes and a red pen to comment and underline. New York helped with this amazingly perfect gloomy weather too. Time to cover the pages in ashes, burn marks, tears and wine stains.
