Pearl is the kind of character who is portrayed as calm, cool, and cynical. Goth teenage vampire who thinks humans are beneath her. She nonchalantly beats up another vampire chick over a guy. I don't like Pearl.

I am torn between this being really sweet or being super corny.

This story could do without the cellphones, iPads, and other modern stuff.

I'm going to be so sad when this book ends.

I'm halfway there. What an adventure.

I had to wait 200 pages for our golem and jinni to finally cross paths. Talk about building suspense.

I have a feeling I'm going to like Michael. And the Jinni does have a point about...the pointlessness of marriage.

The pacing has slowed. Lengthy intros to characters. I'm hoping for more action at this point.

Thick book, but really interesting first three chapters so far.

So I just came back from the advanced screening of The Maze Runner. It was alright. Camera work was shaky, blurry, and dark. I got an insta-crush on Minho. And Teresa was pretty much useless the entire time she was on screen.

I am feeling a barrage of emotions right now and it's only chapter three.

For my 10-minute break, I ran to Starbucks real quick in hopes that they have cinnamon rolls. And by god, they do! It's called a 'morning bun' and costs about $3. I had one. Damn it, Snyder.

Now I'm craving a cinnamon roll. Thanks, Rand.

This book is making me hungry.

It's a Holocaust book. -___-' Not exactly my type. I might DNF this.

So many unanswered questions. Too many cliffhangers. An abundance of adjectives. To DNF or not to DNF? That is the question.

Not a big fan of the cover, but one shouldn't judge the book by it. Pacing is fast. Although I don't know why I keep imaging Chloe Moretz as Maggie and fucking Austin Butler as Jesse. And parents are Mr. & Mrs. Heron from Mean Girls. My imagination needs to step it up. -___-

Finally picking up. But still littered with jargon I constantly skim over.

There is so much information. I feel like my boyfriend, who is actually doing Environmental Studies in uni, will enjoy this more than I.

Names dropped left and right. I foresee a lot of skimming in the future.
