I understand the need to introduce new characters for some of these Star Wars books that don’t take place along the main saga storyline but I wish they weren’t so complicated and didn’t have all these side plots about other characters. It’s hard to keep track

Dang, Lu! You’re a badass

This isn’t quite what I expected—and the world building stuff is confusing at times—but I like it? I don’t know. The cover gave me a different impression of this book than what it is

The most difficult thing about this is there are just so many characters and I can’t em ever who is who or who does what

This is definitely more interesting now. Still not what I expected. But I like how it dips into characters’ heads for a chapter or has a list or a journal entry as well as the main narrative

It’s interesting to see what one thought of space travel when this book was written compares to what it actually is

I'm just waiting for something bad to happen because it's all been so good for a while :|

This is much more fascinating than I expected. I really love all the details of how "Jack" tries to hide that she's a girl
