This is definitely more interesting now. Still not what I expected. But I like how it dips into characters’ heads for a chapter or has a list or a journal entry as well as the main narrative

The only redeeming aspect of this book is Seth and the Zoo and Maddie is being an idiot about that too why

If this book wasn’t such a a fast and easy read, I’d probably have quit already bc this is just ridiculous. How can her parents not help her make better money decisions? Blowing $80 on pizza? $20K on a party? A brand new car she didn’t even like? Where is your BACKBONE girl! You worry about people using you and then you let everybody use you!! Come on!

I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle this book if Maddie makes really bad choices with her lottery money

Marc Thompson is amazing at all these voices
