Man, the rules on dependents are kind of a pain in the number of tests there are.

A slog, even on the topic I thought I knew about. But learning new nuances.

Andrew Tatge is on page 57 of 224 of Smart Brevity: The Power of Saying More with Less (Revised and Updated)
Like other books by CEOs, and contrary to its thesis, there’s a fair deal of brand puffery and myth building re: their enterprise. Useful examples though. Good reminders for writing succinctly.

Andrew Tatge is on page 90 of 384 of The Lords of Easy Money: How the Federal Reserve Broke the American Economy
Interesting chaser to Sci Fi “ministry for the future” as a book about banking policy. Arcane topic fairy well told so far, kind of centered on a line dissenting voter so far. I don’t know how comprehensible it would or wouldn’t be if you have zero interest in things like inflation or fed rates.

Don’t read enough fiction, but I loooved this book. Mix of climate change, political intrigue, and fiscal policy. Good highs and lows. Like the first half more than the second but it has motivated me to look at the world differently.
