For 10 days the 53rd fought in the rain, snow and mud to clear the Reichswald. Casualties were great but they succeeded, the Seigfried line had been breached. The fight would now continue in Germany.

The 53rd Welsh Division have spent August in battles in support of the Arnhem operation. Small actions but still bloody.

I would class this has dark humour. You have a retired Reaper, collector of souls, living as a human. He is troubled by a ghost in a bobcat, who talks and a ghost who wants him to sleep with his ex wife. Another ghost of a soul he had collected and delivered is also around spying on him whilst he has a bath. I am enjoying it.

We have moved on to the late 80's, early 90's. Dusty is hitting the charts again. A collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys put in back in the limelight, and she has finally moved back to the UK.

Who are the Thursday Murder Club. Originally set up by Elizabeth and Penny. Penny a former senior police officer is now in a coma, so Joyce has joined. The other two members are Ron and Ibrahim. Who are these 4 people. Well Ron is former union activist, known as Red Ron to everyone. Ibrahim was someone in the city who enjoys statistics and maths. Joyce, well she was 'just' a nurse.

The Thursday Murder Club are managing to become part of the official investigation into the murder. Elizabeth has used her contacts to obtain financial records for Ian Ventham and hopefully this gives them something the police won't have.

Finally on 14th June 1944 the 53rd Welsh Division landed in Normandy. The time was now for the division to show it's worth.
