At the moment the Cerberus group are outwitting Dr Pierce, his girlfriend and God daughter have been taken hostage whilst he is in Liberia fighting a killer vine.

We still don't know if Douglas is dead. The question I ask is what will Elizabeth do if he is alive and killed Poppy.
Donna and Chris now have support from the Met to catch Connie Johnson.

Enjoyable read, Richard is on top of his game. The big question now is Douglas dead or not. Unfortunately there is no question that Poppy was killed, but was the second body Douglas's.

Ibrahim is out of hospital, and plans are in course to punish his attackers.

Interesting story. We learn early on that Hercules was a real person with an extended life cycle. The herculean society was founded to protect histories Secrets.

The Club face two challenges. First Ibrahim is mugged, now the muggers must pay. More seriously Elizabeth is faced with a former husband and MI 5 agent who needs protection.

First 8 chapters read. Slow story, since the body was found nothing much as happened in trying to find the killer.

Just started read first 4 chapters. A gentle introduction giving the lead characters a brief introduction.

A different location for a crime story, a university mortuary class. First day students are given a chance to work on an actual corpse but when the casket is opened a second body is found.

Capt Trevellion faced many challenges when he took command of HMS Icarus, but now the cold war is hotting up. Russian troops have invaded Norway, the next crucial battleground will be at sea, and Icarus will be right in the middle.

Story 9 Good of the Many by Monlisa Foster, 3*, a story of AI gone wrong.
Story 10, The Prisoner by Patrick Chiles 4*. Humanity is being annihilated by sentient machines. One man sacrifices himself to upload a worm into skynet.
Story 11 The Dragonslayers by Christopher Ruocchio. 4*
Story 12 Humanity's Fist byLou J Berger, 3*.
Just one story to go by David Weber one of my favourite authors, expectations high.

Story 8, Anvil by Wen Spencer. Only 1* for me, have to ask has Spencer written about this reality before because I found it difficult to follow without any previous reference point.

Story 7, Amarillo by fire fight, by Keith Hedger. 4 stars all the way. The idea of an AI chatting up a human Male is brilliant, neitherknowing whether other is. Evan is in danger so Phoeb must save him, fortunately that's her mission. The ending when Evan finally meets her is classic.

Enjoying reading this book takes me back to my schooldays. Regular visits tothe library to obtain the next book in the series.
The concept of sending a schoolboy in to space is great. Why schoolboy, restrictions on space an adult would be too big. Chris Godfrey fits the bill, intelligent but small and willing to learn

Story 6, Harvester of Men by Tony Daniel, only2 * for me. Found the story difficult to follow.

Story 4 completed, Daughter of the Mountains by Kacey Ezell, only 3*. Left me hanging for the next episode.
Story 5, Tankological Superiority by Hank Davis, only 3*. Again feltthe story was incomplete.

The Event Group field team have been reunited but face their greatest challenge. Both the Russians and Chinese are closing in on Shangri-La, bothwant the Dragon mineral.

3rd story finished. Red One by Kevin Ikenberry, 4 stars. This story ends with the AI becoming sentient and taking control of the tank when its crew get killed.

Second story completed, A Tank called Bob by Larry Correia. Another 5 stars. The stories seem to be ordered to mirror the development of the Bolos.

The icelanders managed to sink the Lorient but still did not know who the traitor was. Foster Gly and the French were waiting in Aberdeen to intercept them. They escaped by train more more of the Coloadans died. Now they need to reach a ship to sail across the Atlantic.

Just completed chapter 8. Meg does not believe Sam committed suicide and is determined to find proof. Someone powerful is determined it is suicide.

Isabella is a control freak. Whether drunk or sober she wants to control those around her and direct the ways they please her.

An interesting collection of stories concerning war beyond the natural world.

Our heroes in California have shacked up in the dead film producers mansion raiding neighbouring properties for food and goods. Meanwhile outline NewYorker survivor is determined to walk to LA. His earlier weakness has disappeared, he had no problem killingtnosewho getting his way, and he has even killed an alien.
