Having found Lazlo in Laos and put him in to rehabit he manages to decrypt the letter from Cuba. But this appears to not help the Fargos.

Yuki's first case in the private sector seems to provide a key lead for Lindsey and Rich. Having placed herself in danger, Lindsey sees Joe place himself in harms way. But his actions may well have solved five murders.

Lidsey and Conklin have caught a stinking case. Robbers disguised as SFPD officers. The crimes have become more violence. Running alongside this case Lindsey realised that five murders had been carried out on the same day each year. Can she catch the killer.
Yuki as left the DA's office to becoma a defender. Her case will involve her suing the SFPD causing trouble at home.

The Fargos have been to Cuba and acquired an ancient manuscript. Unfortunately no one can decipher it. So they need an old contact who is missing in Laos, so that is their next stop.

After a brief interlude off Cartegena where they frustrate Justin the Fargos help out on Baffin island finding a well presefrved viking longship. Artefacts found on the ship lead the Fargos to mexico with a trip to Cuba called for. Justin is keeping an eye on them ready to get his revenge.

Life in Raven's Mill is settling down. To earn food chits people must work 6 days a week. An apprenticeship scheme is in place and you work in one area a week to see what area best suits you. Herzer has being working in the woods cutting trees.
Paul's supporters are experimenting creating changed creatures to fight the war which is to come.

Alex is the only member of the HAWCs surviving and Amy and Max are relying on him. Despite his horrendous wounds Borisov is still alive and determined to kill Alex, but will the Croatoan get him first?
