I'm leaning in the 3+ camp right now, this book is clever so far

It's feeling like a mix of Truman Show and Hunger Games...and matched maybe?

Been thinking for a while...Alex clearly has codependency issues with Sutton. "I don't know how to react without her here to tell me how I should be feeling..." (Or maybe that's paraphrasing) Anyway, strong alpha male, stunted emotionally makes him look unlike a strong alpha male and like a codependent boymanchild

I like how the POV is always Lincoln's, but kind of isn't.

I wouldn't recommend audio for this one; performances aren't my favorite, and some of this shouldn't be read aloud...(as in, if I'm just reading it'd be fine, but listening it sounds...eh) I've really enjoyed pieces--and it's hot--but not my favorite for drama or characters yet.

I was getting kinda sleepy, realized I was at 65% so there must be drama soon...OH now I'm awake.

But, seriously, I like Roxie, but I'm not sure I'm rooting for her. I'd rather just keep Leo for myself

I love the pacing of the book so far. I don't always like waiting so long for an intro to the love interest, but I have a good sense of Roxie after 11% and the intro list-lol! + 1 for hot country hipsters.

I do take exception to hair the color of tabbouleh, considering that would be green, red, and wheat colored. Bulgur is likely what Clayton was going for, perhaps though he's meant to have multicolored hair?

I read my print books much slower, but there's no excuse for how long this addictive look at friendship is taking me...

This is a small town book that feels like it was set in 1919 or maybe that'd be more interesting. I'm bored. The characters feel wooden, and the only ones I'm intrigued by are the oldsters.

I know this is sort of a "classic" contemporary series, but I'm just bored.Not sure how long I can give it.

Both listening and reading this one. Unfortunately the narrator for Kaz grates on me, because the others are fab.

Half in love with the characters already

I'm listening to this, and not sure it translates well. Alex is already rather committed and .. soft. We'll see where this leads.

Penny Reid has a knack for making you identify with a character, but part of what I'm loving most about this book is piece: I'm identifying with Marie more than any of the previous heroines in her book.

The problem with Penny Reid is that I'm so in love with her characters-all her characters-that I am now desperate to reread all the books. This feeling only grows, as the stack of books grows. (Like, man, I've missed Sandra and Alex) Time to start a reread shelf

I think I would've loved the twist if the bad boy HAD been. Enjoying this so far

I like changing POVs but I find these odd and feel like it distracts from the story.
