I accidentally returned this to the library! Almost halfway, it was a fun read, can't wait to finish.

I.love.her. Kylie Scott has made the heroine the perfect complement of the hero. Also, snappy dialogue without being something you wouldn't encounter in real life.

While I loved David, was meh on Mal, I knew coming into this Jimmy would be different. I didn't even like him in the other books, but for whatever reason, I have a soft spot for stories that feature addicts in recovery. It's a delicate balance, to be sure. Author needs to avoid codependency, but a big part of the success is the addict discovering who and what they are without substance. enjoying this so far...

Lots of my GR friends seem keen on this author...And I'm not going to lie...This cover was the Perfect Play to get me on board.

What I don't love? How many books the hero has a series of one night stands...I feel like there's some serious issues with what kind of work that would actually take, and I HATE it if it's not revealed through good character building.
