I love them. They are so cute. I always feel uncomfy when the guy sees an asian woman and describes her as "exotic", and there's literally multiple times where she smells like JASMINE - but I feel like his initial reaction to her will be brought up. I want Rory to be a nice guy SO BAD they are SO CUTE

These people are SO. AWFUL. mostly Maddie. She's super selfish, and always prioritizes herself literally every chance she gets. She's constantly worried about being a bitch but she constantly is one to Theo!! Her reasons for hiding the relationship is so shallow, she only contacts anyone to get something or to have sex. She puts Theo in compromising positions and he flocks to make her feel better?? Girl needs therapy

A loooootttt of projection going on on Maddie's side. She's a woman who wants to think the worst of men once she's made up her mind. But she also still has sex with him at like every given opportunity

Relies on that weird romcom thing where both POV says they don't want to hook up again, but suddenly decide that they do when it switches to the other character.

It's not exactly the same, but the MC gives off the same vibes as Paramore's Misery Business and I love her

This is already so cute!!! April is unfortunately not super confident like a lot of fat protags, but you can tell she's trying. And having a scientist background?? Amazing
Marcus is actually really interesting with how he has to balance his actual personality with his public persona, and he actually struggles with it. But I HATE that he's hiding his screename from April!! Why??

I feel like I guessed the big twist within the first chapter. Another one about the son was basically spelled out twice. The real impressive thing would be if this wasn't exactly what it's trying not to look like

Yeah, really a resource for thinking about bisexuality in terms of our relationships with other identities. Interesting thoughts are marked in my Saved Notes. Don't like all the equations of bisexual problems to other, I'd say more serious problems. Monosexism is an interesting concept, but I wouldn't say it's a privledge or the main thing we need to be worried about.

I appreciate her taking the time to really dissect these issues and show how multi faceted and complicated they can be. I have quoted the ideas that I thought provoking and good to use in discussions in my Saved Quotes. But I do not appreciate her equating the struggle of bisexuals to those of Trans people or black slaves - it's not the same thing, even if the extreme cases can be used to explain, it should be clear

Feel like what she points out is so basic or incredibly over the top. Bis aren't usually kicked out of their homes for being bi, that's queer hatred as a whole for example. Not a monosexism thing. There are some good points about how out view gender needs to change and bisexuals threaten the norm.

Agree with most of the 3 star reviews so far. It doesn't know it's audience, and seems to be all over the place with what it wants to say and teach people.

I don't like having to define really...anything when it comes to an identity or experience.

Ah, a clever mix is Misery and Psycho - well foreshadowed with Annie's profession and her research. I'm a bit on the fence on the villain being a gender confused person, it seems unnecessary to frame blame like that especially in these days. But it is very thrilling and I'm nervous to see where it goes

Oh my god I am REELING from the twist that just happened. Talk about an unreliable narrator oh my god I love it. Suddenly the mc is incredibly shifty after just one revelation that is so well done and I'm dying to see how this works out

Good. Descriptive and great characters. No plot tho, just going around doing daily work

I feel like nothing is really happening. Like, progression wise. I don't care about Crowley, I don't even really get who all these other weird people even are, and Jonathan s story is soooo sloowwww and nothing is progressing

The puppet thing really turned me off ngl. I want this just to be about Jonathan and his friends!! IDC about the villian or whoever Christina is. I'm just barely interested

Not loving it too much so far. Interesting concepts but I don't think it's original, probably from the original fairytale - seems like it's made for younger audiences so idk two stars so far

This book honestly cannot be telling me that this show Bee is doing is worth anything besides being in the trash. I'm not even halfway in and the obvious damage this show is doing to her and exploiting her is nauseating
