My girl Erida is going to go insane I love it. First with paranoia and now What Waits whispering in her head. Yes queen lmao

Vaveyard does a good job making the Ashland army seem just hellish. Corayne gets a real badass moment finally face to face with What Waits. I know the scene with Sigil and Sorasa isn't actually filled with sexual tension, but I think it SHOULD BE. why else have two characters wash themselves in the same stream?? Hell0???

Erida killing her first person ever (a girl who others want to use against Erida and probably doesn't have any say in it) then fucking the possessed prince is really Girl Boss of her

Sorasa getting everyone to ARM WRESTLE omg I love it, I love Sigil's feral strength and the Prince of Trec

Also I looovvvee Erida. it really is Woman Month. Slaughtering a gate-town with an army of the dead, letting the news travel all throughout the Ward, walking right into the Capital of Madrence and just taking the throne like nothing because they already fear her. And she RELISHES in the power, almot kills everyone of the Madrence nobles just bc - love her relationship with Harsing

Oh my god I love Sorasa :.) Them getting to the northern wolf kingdom Trek to appeal to the Prince there, very Stark-esque, but I love brutish war kings. And Dom getting all flustered at sorasa in the bath is literally hilarious - her relationship with Corayne is great too, they are family :)

The sections need to some moving around, there's not a clear reason for why this section on money is different than the first other than it also talks about taxes. This should have just been an immigration chapter instead of a "government incentives" chapter

The writing could be clearer/more concise but very interesting. Good discussion on the benefits of women's rights and the unexpected drawbacks they have

Somehow over explains everything (probably to draw out the word count bc this does not need to be novel length) like what is real or not and how everyone feels about everything. But also everything is kind of random? There's not really a reason for any of the "scares"

The constant *wink wink* moments drag this down too. "Will this be their undoing or their salvation?" "He expected a killer in a hockey mask to emerge behind her" it's just. Cliche I guess? Too obvious? Idk I'm not feeling it

Slow pacing is kinda killing this one. Doesn't help that all the characters are pretty terrible except for Sylvia. Now Im not really caring about anything that's happening. Horror full of tropes and just seems random

Interesting stuff, and I love the checklists at the end of each part. It's only a worthy discussion if there is a way to move forward. I don't really get anything out of the Alex and gig work chapters, you don't really interact with people in those kinds of jobs anyway.
