Got the ARC a few days ago. Finally, diving into it. Unchosen is sorta not doing it for me rn.

Just finished a chapter and do I have to continue on? 😆 I just want to prep myself for ACOSF.

Her fingers are now trailing over the sharp white lines in the paintings and I wonder if anyone has told her that artists don't like it when you touch their paintings.

I have started the first chapter included in the second book. It just started and we already see a metaphor.

This series would have been great if Mafi controlled the urge to be poetic at every page. 😆 I'm still going on because it actually got interesting from the middle of the second book.

In the absence of human realtionships (shouldn't there be a comma here?) I formed bonds with paper characters. I lived love and loss through stories threaded in history; I experienced adolescence by association.

I can't put the whole paragraph of this on page 68. We get it. That's most of us readers. It feels boring so far.......... 🥲
