I'm listening to the audiobook version of this. The narration is stunning, but the build up is soooo slow. I am currently at the phone calls chapter. Is it worth trudging through this book? I am already 3 hours in and want to put it down. Would love to hear any feedback, thank you. :)

I'm looking forward to finishing this book. I never thought I would read it since it's outside my comfort zone. But I mean, we all eat at restaurants, and it would be nice to see the behind the scenes action Bourdain alludes to. :)

I was so excited to read this book, but so far, I feel pretty disappointed. Here's hoping that the second half of this book is better than the first.
