SO MUCH IS HAPPENING. Kip's chapters went from my least favorite in The Black Prism to my absolute favorite in The Blinding Knife. That has to do with his story being more interesting, and also his access of those cards is so cool. Still love every scene with Andross.

So many secrets. So many details about the history of the Seven Satrapies.

"These are the hammerfalls that shape a man. And he accepted the blows." Not the most elegant quote, but I like it and it does its job. Also, I love the current relationship between Kip and Andross. Probably what I'm most interested in so far.

This plan to escape Buckkeep will go horribly wrong. Oh and Rosemary is totally Regal's spy and she completely knows the plan. At this point I'm just mulling over who'd I be least devastated to see die.

I love Kettricken and hate Regal. I'm sure neither are unique opinions.

Chapter 14 'Secrets' and Chapter 15 'Winterfest' were two of the best chapters I've read in a while in ANY book. It warranted updating my progress only 8% to say so.

Fitz's lies and secrets are piling up so much, the aftermath will be rough. Also him and Molly are adorable but I'm 100% sure she will die horribly, so I will spend the rest of the book mentally preparing for that.

"This is no pack's doing. This is man's doing." Back to finish Farseer book 2 before continuing with Lightbringer. Hobb's writing style is so much more elegant than Weeks, it's refreshing to come back to.

This is getting goooooood. Warming up to the magic system, and a recent revelation has made things VERY interesting. I hope I get better with following some names, and the types of people/ethnicities.

I want so badly for Kettricken to get her wish of doing more around Buckkeep. Her Jhaampe ways of ruling are admirable.

"As the ocean sorts pebbles from sand on a beach and stratifies them at the tide mark, so did the poundings and caressings of Galen separate his students."

Finally back to reading after a stint with finals. This book is getting good and I'm definitely warming up to Hobb's writing style. The first 100 pages has this sort of glaze over it, like it's a dream, which may be due to it being a story that is told, but the tone has set in nicely with that. I can't see myself enjoying that vibe for the whole book, though. Regardless, I'm optimistic of the quality moving forward.

Let's see how this goes. Not bad so far.

Stopped about 200 pages short because I know that once I start the Sanderson avalanche, I won't be able to stop, and I have to be up early. I will finish tomorrow though and it's a bittersweet feeling. Loving everything about this book so far, Roshar is already the most alive and unique fantasy world with only 3/10 books out.

The end of Part 2 was UTTER INSANITY.

I have to average 118 pages/day to finish my WoR re-read in time during a busy week. Let's see how this goes.

Unsure if I'll finish my re-reads TWoK, WoR and Edgedancer before Oathbringer, oh well. Been playing too much of The Witcher 2 and focusing on school.

End of Part 1 for my re-read! Kal really had it bad 100% of the time up until now.
