I need to finish this before I completely hate everything about it. Not sure if that is more me or the writing.

Slow progressing as the print is tiny and I am fighting more and more with his style of writing. It's so hard to ignore once you have made up your mind about it.

oh, why did I get this? I feel not very interested while listening.

I really like how she is looking back on herself critically and still gives us her dark sentiments of that time.

Enkoying the narrative voice and tone of the narration very much.

Not happy with this, it just feels off for me. :(

After some starting problems I found my way back into the world and narrative style.

I listened to the first chapter and find myself not very interested. Maybe I put it off too long, or was never that interested in the first place. Let's see what the second chapter brings.

You know you've got the right book to cheer you up if you have to sing an anthem before you can get into the story. Greatly enjoying this.

Starting this again as I am on the last book that is mentioned in this one. YAY.

Reading a German translation by Peter Urban published in Verlag der Autoren, but this wasn't a choice, so just mentioning that here.

Quarter Two was heartbreaking and frustrating to enraging.
Quarter Three left me unconnected to the characters but interested in the events and more on spirals.

Finished Quarter One and really enjoyed it, although not being overly invested in the characters, the writing was compelling and drawing you in.

it's like a bunch of people telling a story by constantly interrupting each other - love it :)

I'm DNFing, mostly because I don't care about the story enough to go on.

Relating a little too much with the main character - but love it so far!

Why can't I get lost in these books, each seems to take longer to read and makes me put it aside after a few pages as I need a break from it. Really must think about this.

I hate how Stephen King foreshadows in this series (maybe he always does this, but I haven't read anything else by him). You may find yourself deeply in the story and then he just drops in a sentence along the lines of
"He wanted to ask him about this later but never got the chance because one of them died"
and then moves on with the story as if nothing happened.
Does anyone like that?
