Ummm… ok, so I’m actually loving this book. It’s hitting a rarely seen soft spot in my heart. I’m really appreciating how it approaches grief. And it’s making me very grateful for the relationship I have with my parents, and planting a seed of longing for the one I have with my brother. Obvs I’m now invested in how and when Maddie and Dom are going to get back together too.

Definitely not my usually romp and predictable as all get out. But I’ll be damned if I didn’t just “just one more chapter”-ed this for the last hour.

Just sitting here living life, minding my own business, worrying about how Carl and Donut’s story can realistically finish. Knowing what we know, like seriously. What is the best possible outcome here- and is that truly possible. I know there’s at least 2 more books in the series. But what is going to happen to them?? Having a total existential crisis as I’m trying to get ready to go out.
