Well damn! I was not expecting it but I think this going to be an emotional ride; and I'm looking forward to it!

Great! I love the mood and the atmosphere. The feeling the story creates within the reader helps embellish the story. I also am intrigued by the main character and her soon to be future.

Wonderful so far. Haunting and emotional, both a story of ghosts and humanities handle on grief, regret, and letting go.

Nothing has happened yet.

I don't know if it is because this authors first book is still in my head, but this story and format seems very familiar; almost cookie cutter to book one. I keep checking to make sure these are two completely separate stories.

Everything I've guessed has come true, the story is a lot different then I was expecting. Not sure how I'm enjoying it.

I like this story, I just with the mystery had more of a "punch." It is more the main character asking a lot of questons (most commently to herself) then getting a few anwsers, the asking more questions, and so on. The action is subdued and almost meek. Great atmosphere and magic systems though.

There are some strange characters action choices, like the main character hiding in her own mother's house. Why? She has every right to be there as far as anyone else is concerned. Also a lot of similar backtracking just with different characters, makes the story a bit blah.
