16 hours down 2 to go, but If I have to read one more sex scene involving children I’m gonna have to dnf. I personally think child sex scenes should never be this descriptive it really crosses a line for me. I get there are real children with these experiences but we don’t need to be so descriptive in literature. Protect our children good grief

Okay this book has been insanely boring to me but my jaw has never dropped so quickly to the floor at that 😂

Holy crap, the main character is INSUFFERABLE to me

Whew, I forget how many different names and races and classes there are to remember in some of these fantasy books

There are so many characters to keep track of—I tried starting this book as an audiobook but there was no way my visually learning ass would be able to remember the names. Physically reading it though, I’m surprised I’m able to track the names and remember who is who. Author is doing a good job of giving us the characters in bites

Runaway prisoners from the 70s is such a creepy concept. With no home cameras or ring cameras, he’s able to just walk into peoples homes, quietly eat their food, and sit at their kitchen table while they’re sleeping, waiting out a storm?! Ugh so creepy

While Lini couldn’t get over the constant tugging of lips I can’t get over the fact that he is CONSTANTLY looking down his nose at her 🤣🤣 “A shadow shifted across his striking nose” “he peered at her down his nose” I know he’s supposed to be hot but I’m just imagining a huge shnozz like a bird!! 🤣

The numerous visions that mean something but don’t really mean something and the fact that the FMC won’t talk to Fate to get his help is kind of infuriating
