Idk man I think books like PJO and SOC and Bloodwitch and TLC have all spoiled me. You can’t tell me that the slow burn and development as people before romance isn’t superior to the attraction and already blushing butterflies 30% of the way into the book. You just can’t tell me that.

Maaan what would I give to have a best friend like this. That’s not friendship, that’s family. But sometimes I feel like I’ve missed my chance. I want that childhood friend you grow up with are inseparable. Sadly none of my childhood friends felt the same.
