Damn, I'm having a blast. My Stephen King reread project hasn't been this fun since Firestarter.

I must say, after getting through the gargantuan, self-referential reads that are It and The Tommyknockers, this is quite a breath of fresh air.

This has always been one of my least favorite King novels. That is no longer the case, methinks. I'm having a helluva good time. :)

Switching to the hardcover edition. Having bad eyesight is awesome.

I can feel myself entering a bit of a reading rut, and I want to prevent that if at all possible. King usually fixes it. :)

The Dark Half isn't my favorite, but rereading SK is like putting on an old, comfortable pair of house slippers (pardon the cliché, thanks).

Honestly? Reading this book is torture. I am not enjoying myself. :(

This book is very chilly, very '70s, very English. I dig it.

Friends, my Kindle Fire's charger port isn't working (I think it's been knocked loose). This ever happen to anyone else? :(

New Year's resolution: cut back on giving out 5-star ratings. I'm reserving that for the mostest specialist books from now on. :)

This book was, admittedly, pretty slow going for the first hundred pages or so. It didn't help that work was busy the last two days, thus cutting down on my reading time. However, this novel has settled into a groove and I'm having a hella good time. I love Barker's writing.

This book is okay; it is dragging a bit. Hope it picks up in part two.

I can feel my stomach starting to drop in a way like I haven't experienced since reading King's PET SEMATARY and REVIVAL for the first time. I don't know where this is going, but I sense it won't be pretty.

I plan to read 100 novels in 2017, and I will also be rereading/reviewing one Stephen King short story per week; hence, my reading goal is 152. No, I've not gone crazy. I know my limits... :)
