I have finally watched the movie, now onto the books as I have been waiting some time to read them now.

So how did humans get this magical vault of plant seeds from Magonia in the first place?

That was a pretty big "humans are destroying the planet" message.

So they blame humans for being responsible for them starving. Even though the humans sound like they were in the middle of drought and then possibly war (which this race don't seem to understand). Also the humans had no idea they even existed, let alone relied on stealing their food to survive. These people are crazy.m and totally misplaced their anger.

Aza you need to have a wee little chatty chat with Ley. Maybe then you will get some answers.

So far it has not been explained how this civilisation came to be. Because I have no idea how they survive if all they do is steal food from Earth. They don't seem to be able to produce their own food or water.

Aza no one would begrudge you sticking your foot out and tripping him over so he lands flat on his face one day.

Not entirely sure what is going on but it's interesting so I keep reading.

Interesting start. Still setting everything up but the story feels like something is about to happen.

This is going to be a to part book isn't it? This story arc isn't going to be resolved. This does not make me happy.

Maris is a police office through and through it's his default setting. He couldn't be anything else. That scene is hilarious.

She really needs to just bring the police officer into the Scooby Gang.

Caldenia is so much fun. Though I would never want to be her enemy.

Of course the guy sent to kill her guest is a mega-psycho, skilled, rich, cult leader, assassin alien.

I think she is going to give George an ass whooping next time she sees him.

Hmm the rescue went well. Seeing as this is the start of the book I guess things are about to go badly for them.

Wow she seemed to switch her defections real quick when a different offer came along. I guess she just wasn't really into him.

And all the pieces are no in place for a massive, no holds barred, show down between baddies, goodies, and aliens. Queue massive destruction of the surrounds in a few pages.

Wow Cerebus is having an epically bad day. I think epic certainly applies to how bad his day is going. On the plus side he is the bad guy so yay he is having a bad day. On the bad side his bad day effects the good guys too so watch this space. (Hahaha pun totally intended)

Oh Ella is soooo much fun. I just laugh snorted loudly at her comment.

Love how she casually mentions she lost her jumpsuit while escaping in a hail of bullets. The scene was more intense.
