Aaand back to marketing garbage. If you were to boil away the dross, this BOOK would be 1 page.

OK, the intro to this book is written in Marketing Bro, and I almost threw it in the trash, but now we're starting to get into useful information -- define your target market as a niche rather than a large, generic population, and think through the needs of that market and how to cater to it, rather than advertising that you're "the best" or "high quality."

So far, this book makes Jamsetji Tata sound like he had infinite wisdom and perfect foresight. Kuber's hero worship is interesting, as he tells the scope of the first Tatas' impact on India. There is much bald propagandic phrasing in the first few chapters, so I believe Kuber likely has blind spots in his view of the Tatas, but so far I am enjoying the journey. Everyone loves a good tale about a superman.

The Four F functions of the so-called lizard brain have ensured our species's survival: fight, flight, feed, and ...reproduction. Religion, rituals, and art are often used to temper these "primal" urges and fears humans have relating to them.
