So far, delightful! I had no idea it was about Sherlock Holmes when I picked it from a pile of cheap Audible books, so yay.

This book! Emotionally, it's classic Sedaris, telling stories that wobble you back and forth between disgust and empathy. Love it, and still savoring it.

Rushing to finish this, because it's due back to the library tomorrow... So intense. Her education is just as much about realizing the abuse she received from her father an older brother were wrong as it is about passing algebra.

Done with Part 1! What an excellent, illuminating series, both in thinking at different levels of scale and understanding how the processes that we know and love -- gravity -- brought a nearly uniformly distributed universe of matter to a universe filled with stars and planets.

I wish David Christian were a little more concrete in his discussion of energy flows and complexity, as they appear to be keystone concepts.

Tempted to not complete this one... not learning anything, and the story-telling is boring because Brooks isn't sharing new information.
