Why can't they all just get along!?

I'm really enjoying this so far.
I'm a sucker for stories revolving around the filming or Horror movies or documentaries, so this plays to those tastes.
It's giving me Poltergeist vibes because of all the lore surrounding the making of that movie and the aftermath...

If my favorites don't survive this, I shall be shattered and blown to the wind.

This is getting, even though I didn't think it was possible, more complex and twisted. I'm so worried about this group of characters that I have come to love. The Tower is such a devious place. Please let them all be okay!!

I didn't actually think the Sphinx would ever actually be revealed to us.
This is surprising. I'm still not sure of their true nature or intent, but hoping we get more answers before this wraps up.
Also, I am enjoying getting more time with Edith, Adam, Iren and Voleta with Senlin not around. I feel like I am getting to understand them more.
Is Adam some sort of chosen one, I'm wondering?

Definitely interested so far.
It's giving me like The Lying Game, or In a Dark, Dark Wood vibes. I'm here for it!

He is going to feel so betrayed when he finds out.
Her husband, I get. He certainly keeps plenty of his own secrets, but Rowan deserves the truth.

She's smart. She's resourceful.
She's a little too secretive though.
We can get behind that.

Hmmmmmmm, what is really going on here and does Con actually know.
Is this going to be a major backstab, got you moment between these two...

I'm gonna be honest.
I need this MC to start showing from growth.
She's floundering around, anxious about everything and seeking help constantly, even though there's no one she can really trust.
She needs to start to take matters into her own hands.
Come on, girl. Let's goooo! You can do this!!

This is slow as heck, but I am really enjoying it.
It's got a great atmosphere and I'm super into anything involving the filming of movies, docs or tv shows.

A slow build, but I feel like we're finally digging in.
At least the three are actually communicating.

Dark, dark, dark fiction is my comfort place, but every once in a while it's nice to read outside that comfort zone. This book is the perfect example of why. It's the kind of story that reminds you of what it means to feel alive. Full of raw emotion and beautiful character work. This story has captured my heart.

So are the 'Sirens' really sirens...like this girl is sus.
