I have been reading this for WEEKS!!!
I cannot get into it, I have zero desire to pick it back up, but everyone and their sister seems to be loving it, so maybe it gets more exciting soon. I feel like I have to stick with it, but yeah...I'm bored as heck with this.

I love the trope of someone returning to their small town after many years away. This is delivering that. Also, I love this sort of tone of storytelling. Hilly-billy Noir if you will. It's reminding me of A Familiar Dark, or Out of the Ashes...I really like it.

I like how this story shows the natural progression of new friendships.
Like in the beginning, I thought Zane and Garrett were going to have real issues; like a bully situation.
To my surprise, they advanced past that fairly quickly and are now becoming really supportive friends. It's nice to see.
