Okay, Bhanu is warming up now and being really helpful to Sunny. I do love fake dating and weddings, so this is starting to hook me now!

1st impressions: Female MC, Bhanu, is insufferable.
I'll keep reading for the Hawaiian setting and the Male MC, Sunny, but secretly I am already hoping he doesn't end up with Bhanu.

I have flown through this. What a fun concept!
Even though the author and I don't have the exact same thoughts on some of these, I love hearing their opinions, in particularly the books they recommend tied to which movies. Also, I love the way they formatted it!

I really enjoy how the author has developed this story.
You think you are getting one thing, and then at it evolves, it's just so compelling. It's also much, much deeper than I anticipated, but not in an annoying, ooey-gooey way that annoys the shit out of me. This is actually so enjoyable. I'm in it with these characters.

Imagine if he just pushed everyone off ...

Oh, heck yeah! Cassidy is leaning hard into the creepy apartment building atmosphere and I'm loving that part of this story. I wish this was just told via Reid's perspective though, along with the Interludes, which are so fun. I find Ana to be so grating and when I'm in her perspective, I just want to be out of it. She brings the whole enjoyment level down for me.

Definitely not connecting with this one in the same way I did with When the Wolf Comes Home, but I am still interested to see how far Cassidy takes this unsettling apartment building trope.

This is an interesting set-up for this story. I'm wondering how reliable our MC is, and we all know I love an unreliable narrator. She seems a little off to me, and a way I can get down with! LOL

Over 100-miles in. Their thoughts are spiraling. Walking voluntarily to their deaths and the crowds cheer on...

Things are getting messy now. People losing it out on the road...

It's snuck up on me, but definitely has captured my heart and attention. I have a feeling this is going to break me.

There's so much mystery revolving around Beth's husband, and what happened to him, but I like how subtle the author is keeping it. Like it doesn't feel like it's connected, but I think it may be a huge piece of the puzzle.

We're off to a great start. I like the MC, Beth, a lot. I do usually enjoy following characters who are scientist. I'm definitely interested to see where this is gonna go.

Ooo, things are getting weird. Birds freak me out, so this is definitely playing into that fear.
