I found this whole vegetarian comparison faulty. Most vegetarians don't find not eating meat a struggle. At most you get cravings, but there are tons of options that give you the feeling of eating meat without eating meat. Just saying.

Bella is seriously one of the dullest heroines I have ever read. I wish this book was in third person narration. Would have been so much better, IMHO.

This is a really interesting, powerful read.

Bella is a shitty friend AND apparently all the girls are bitches. I wish the supporting characters had more depth. I guess if Bella doesn't give a shit, we shouldn't either. Whatevz. Shitty writing, just saying.

Random history lesson in the prologue. Well, that was not typical in all the romances I have read so far.

After reading this for a second time, I enjoyed it a lot more. I'm bumping this up from three stars to four.
