I am loving the supernatural aspects to this series. :)

This book takes the cake on racism. Breeding slaves like horses, and saying that slaves are animals not humans. Because bible said so. I know that was the common belief back then, but still. Just wow. Still a good book tho.

I can't focus on this now.

I'm going to put this on hiatus until January.

Just finished cleaning out my bookshelves: putting some of the keepers in storage in the garage. Some being swapped/donated, etc. :)

I love book shopping at Goodwill. 6 books for $6.99. Score!

Holy shit. This book just blew my mind.

This book depresses and angers me on how little things have changed since the early 90's when this was published. This book is still extremely relevant, which is sad.

I am really enjoying this book.

Two of the supporting characters is an interracial lesbian couple. I love how race and sexuality are portrayed in this book, so far.

I got more library books. Hopefully enough to last me a little bit. :P

I think I'm becoming desensitized to YA. I feel like I've read this before. It's all the same themes. I can't even be mad anymore. It's boring me now.
