I wanted to get back into reading and this book is perfect for it, even though I should be reading 1984 for my English.

im not sure if i am being too critical of rowells work but this book bugs me. she literally thought a black chick was fatter than her and then remembered that she was "fat" and started hating herself again, like, dude, u need to chill with the victimizing bullshit.

is that really how they're going to wrap up how much of a douchebag her sister has been? really?

this book was pretty good until it started deepening the romance between Cath and Levi. they totally skimmed over why he kissed that other chick (which is the girl Cath spoke to in the library, I think) and he's sort of manipulative and she's kind of pathetic; "God, she wanted to tackle him and roll around in him like a cat in a field of daisies" give me a break.
