I don't really care for how she's handling this old relationship thing. It feels like it was inserted way after the fact just to add some drama. It doesn't feel very organic and it doesn't fit the established precedent very well.

Book two is a lot slower than book one, and I'm having a hard time keeping interested in it. But hopefully things will pick up. I've been spoiled for this one and I'm not really looking forward to what I know is going to happen, but maybe it won't bother me as much as it's bothered other people.
