I cannot believe it has come to an end. I've been reading the Morganville series for years, it was comforting to think that every year I would come back to read about Claire's crazy adventures, Myrnin's insane driving skills, Michael's dreamyness, Eve's gothic soul, and Shane's oftentimes moronic state of mind. Morganville is a dear old friend, and I am sad to have to say goodbye.

I am just glad the series ended on a good note, that it gave us closure, and that it's last book was a marvelous one

It suddenly hit.. THE LAST BOOK!... AHHH :'(

So... I finished it..
This is bittersweet, I've been reading this series for a bloody long time. And whilst I did sort of grow out of it as I grew up, it felt good to come back to the wonderful world of Morganville, one more time.
For the final time, our heroes stepped up to defend their town.

2.5 stars for the good old times.

As Rachel Caine pointed out herself, it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to Morganville, but at the same time, the goodbye has come not a second too soon. The Morganville well has been drained of its very last drop of entertainment, left with nothing but sweet memories to give.

While I was never the biggest Morganville fan out there, I’ve been following the series happily and eagerly from its very beginnings. We’ve had some good times and we’ve had some bad, but as w

I was late to the party when the first Morganville book came out back in 2006. I ended up reading the first book, Glass House, four years later, in 2010, quickly fell in love with it and proceeded to read the next eight books in the series. With ever addition I became head-over-heals addicted and couldn't wait to dive back into my beloved town filled with the most witty characters, bone-chilling vampires and crazy action. So, I write this review with a heavy heart. Fifteen books later a

So I read Daylighters last night/today, and I don't even know what to say. On one hand I am HATING that the series is ending, it's one of my favorite series of all times. But on the other hand, I am extremely happy with the ending that Rachel gave our awesome Morganville residents.

This story starts off exactly where Bitter Blood left off, on an extreme cliffhanger with danger and peril staring our main characters in the face. And I would love to say that things get better from there, but they d

Yet another series that comes to an end. But in a way I'm glad it ended. 15 books were dragging it a bit, I guess. And the book ended on a good note, too. Though a part of me says..

But I know it would have been cruel to take it farther. I'm having trouble forming words to best describe this book or this series since the review of this book will go a long way to describe the whole series to those who haven't read the series and to those who have read and want to know the views of fellow reader. I can't believe the series is over!! I think I'm still in shock....

It has a title!!! Well helloooo there Daylighters! :D

This is the last one..... :'( I don't know what I'll do now that there will be no more Morganville Vampire books to look forward to. **sniffles**

Update: It has a cover!!! And it's beautiful! <3

Double Update: It has a synopsis! And it's the last one.... so I'm getting choked up.... :'(

The fifteenth and thankfully last book in the series. I enjoyed this but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped, things were just a little bit too sweet and perfect at the end. I wanted more twists and turns and more drama from Claire and the gang - I suppose after fifteen books they deserved an HEA, but I wish it hadn't been quite such a predictable and cheesy ending.

-What's what: Morganville taken over by the mysterious Daylight Foundation, all the vampires locked up, Shane and other Morganvil

Short and sweet (as reviews go)...

This was an okay series ending but just a little too over done.

Honestly, given the last book, that may have been inevitable.

Everything was as neatly wrapped up as it could be, I suppose.

But, it wasn't impressive and seemed to lag on and on for awhile. So much of the same happened both plot wise and in character action that it created a bland story line too much the same as previous books; it was just under the guise of a different plot device.

I'm so freaking happy it is over. I will never ever re-read this series ever again. I was planning on reading the novellas..

The first book was probably the best out of the entire series. Ever since then, especially with the last couple of books, the series has gone so far down hill I don't think they could ever recover from it. I feel like this series had way too many books with conflicts that just dragged on and on. I could've been happier with like 5 books than 15. I didn't really care about

SPOLER ALERT - (only read this review if you have read the books)

Okay, deep breaths. I love this series so much and I am saddened that it has come to an end. Caine's writing is always so fluent and flawless and the books have been an amazing read!

Why it deserved 4*:
- the way Caine writes is magnificent, she really is an amazing story teller and she shows the characters' actions instead of simply telling us.

- Michael back to a human! Back to the man Eve fell in love with. Now they can grow old to

I didn’t want to finish this series, but I couldn’t help reading it. I loved being a part of this world and feeling like the characters were real and the places are real, and it’s bittersweet saying goodbye after so much. After the MIT fiasco, they go back to Morganville and the daylight foundation has taken over. The daylighters make my spine actually tingle, and all the characters are so memorable I don’t think I’ll ever forget the time I spent in Morganville.

Daylighters is the 15th and final book in the long running witty Morganville Vampire series. All the books in this series are light, fun and quick reads. This one isn't any different. I think old fans of the series won't be disappointed because the entire gang is back for one final adventure.

The plot is thrilling, a lot goes on throughout the whole book. I never got bored. I really wanted to be excited about this book and I really want to gush about it because it is the last in this great young
The End. Yes, after 7 years and 15 books Morganville has finally reached it;s conclusion. It has been an enjoyable run with these very eclectic characters. I will will miss them. I will miss Myrinirn with his outrageous outfits, his cute pet Bob and his bunny slippers, most of all. It ends in a satisfying bang that couldn't have been more satisfying. Good bye old friends.

I'm happy with how things ended and where the characters ended up. I know how hard it is to finish a series and I think Rachel did a good job.
This took a bit for me to get into. Probably because I didn't like where it was headed. A whole new arc twist and it was the last book. Shockingly, it was wrapped up quickly, compared to previous issues. Honestly the threat ended up being almost a joke. There are a few shocking moments. I love how Myrnin is less alone it seems. Shane was quite mature compared to past books. I think what Hannah does, especially in the beginning shocks me the most. I want to read a follow-up sotry. A -1 year later ...more

Before I get into this review, I want to exclaim how amazing this series is. Despite what I’m going to say, I would totally re-read the entire series. I have been reading this series since 2007. Way before I was even a blogger. An employee recommended it to me and ever since then, I have been hooked. Every new book I had to get immediately. Not to mention that I know Morganville like the back of my hand. So to see this book end is pretty sad for me. I don’t want to end. Here we go…

This was a good ending to the series; however, this series could've been shorter. And I think some of the conflicts were a bit drawn out. Also, I honestly think this series should've ended with the draugr conflict but that's just what I think since that was probably the most crazy part of the series. Still don't really care for Shane and Claire together. I love Michael and Eve forever though. And I love how much Claire is a nerd, though she has her dumb moments sigh.

Daylighters, the final book in the Morganville Vampires series, begins where Fall of Night left off. Claire is back in Morganville after leaving for college but something happened while she and the others were away. The town, previously run by vampires, has been taken over by the humans. Ironically, back at the start of the series Claire would have been perfectly content with that but a lot has happened since. On the surfac

Okay, so I’m going to be a total fan girl right now. I just love Rachel Caine’s ability to write a long lasting series without losing her touch. There have just been so many of them that I loved in the beginning but the passion (and quality of writing) simply died halfway through (e.g. House of Night, Sookie Stackhouse Books, Anita Blake to name a few). So as an author I’m impressed. And as a reader I’m grateful. Kudos to Ms. Caine for creating characters that stayed true to their nature, mature ...more

The daylight foundation has taken control over Morganville and it's up to Claire and the gang to restore power to Amelie because the foundation has nasty plans for the future of the town. The gang encounter some roadblocks but through twists of fate end up with happily ever afters. I don't think this instalment was as epic as I'd hoped it would be seeing as it is the last book in the series though we do get to revisit many characters introduced throughout the series and understand how much Clair ...more

So this was the end. I am glad - it was getting painful to read. This summarized the whole story pretty well. HEA for our lovely main characters.

Let's just say, it's a good thing this is the last book. The series was SO close to crashing and burning completely. I really enjoyed #14 but Daylighters didn't entertain me at all. That said, this is definitely my favourite series, and I'm impressed that they kept me reading for an entire 15 books! I often don't make it past book 1 of a series.

I will miss these characters so much but I do think it all tied up well.

I enjoyed that it was from Micheal’s point of view, but this short story definitely wasn’t anything special.

It's been months since I've. Finished this book and I still haven't written a review for this... well maybe beause I can't face the fact that I really have to say goodbye to this wonderful series...
I mean how do you say goodbye to a nook that has been with you for a really long time?

But anyway it's really done so I better start writing.

Let's start from the very first time I met morganville vampires.

The Morganville Vampires has been one of my favourite series since I was in 3rd year at high school (which was about 7 years ago) and it's still one of my favourites. I've been dreading the moment when this series would come to an end because I didn't think I would be able to let go of these characters. But I have to say Daylighters was the perfect ending to this series and I honestly couldn't have seen it ending any other way. Although I'm extremely upset

I have no idea how to even start this review. Daylighters has been on my shelf since publication date waiting to be read, I just never got around to reading it, and I think part of that may be that I was reluctant to read Daylighters. I didn't want this series to end, to say goodbye to the characters that I have loved from the very first page of the very first book. Reading Daylighters would only confirm that this was the end.

It's very rare that I stick with a series that is so long. I think the
