Really descriptive, but the writing is a little impersonal. It's hard to attach to the characters. But still really engaging.

This might be weird to say, but I hope this novel is as good as the original story. LoL

How shocking that none of the characters have developed at all, even after everything. Sigh. Frustrating.

Really disappointed in a certain character. It would have been intensely nice to finally have one of them not be a two-faced bitch, but that's apparently way too much too ask. At Oliver still has integrity. Never leave me, baby.

Is it horrible that I'm kind of hoping Shane /does/ die? I know he won't because no YA author can ever break up her gross OTPs, but god, that would be the most amazing plot twist.

I want a Team Total Fail jersey.

The draug plot is pretty cheesy. But I can understand why Caine chose them as the antagonists. It's unique-ish, and I respect that. The story was a little cheesy, but the tension and pacing in this book was really good. It was a definite page-turner for me, something that had been lacking in the two books before this one.

I don't even know what's going on anymore, but I'm just going with it. Lol

And why exactly is Eve not dead yet? This is really past the point of believability now.

To say that the Dr. Horrible reference made me happy is a severe understatement.

And here we go again. The girls are embarrassingly over-dramatic and touchy and fly off the handle at the slightest provocation, and the boys are pathetically clueless. Again, if you're going to try and make us believe that these four should be treated like adults and respected, then try portraying them with a little more maturity and open-mindedness.

How could Shane be overdue at the blood bank? I though their special little pins gave them immunity from taxes? Bah, I hate when writers forget their own plot elements.

I'm not really looking forward to this book. I've heard not-too-glowing things about it. But here's hoping it's not that bad.

At least it took nine books before they started to feel really 'monster of the week' and episodic. And while I certainly understand why the kids in the Glass house must always be the focus of every plot in Morganville (it would be a really boring and confusing book series if everything was happening off camera), learning a little and focusing a little on the other people in Morganville once in awhile would be nice.

Random thought: If Claire wasn't allowed to sit down during her punishment, then how did she pee? Myrnin kept feeding her beverages. I'm now picturing him making her squat like an old Japanese toilet. I have too many thought, apparently.
