More 'telegraphic' updates of history, with just the broadest strokes to cover the high-level description of what has happened. I was thinking today while reading at lunch that there's very little about anything artistic, it's really about wars and politics and revolutions and the like. For anything else, you need to go elsewhere, but it's effective at getting to the point!

There are a lot of suggestions in the last few chapters about things to do to try to rein in the costs of personal healthcare, mostly centered around asking questions and basically demanding answers. I feel like this is a book I want in a printed version to use as reference.

Finally at ch 12 we get to the suggestions to improve things. Very much looking forward to those after all the depressing stories illustrating how messed up our current system is. I know there are good people in health care, but it sure seems like there are also many just out to take in money in any way possible!

End of ch 4 included bits about beneficial difficulty, such as fuzzy text or missing letters. Ch 5 is talking about illusions of knowing, even such as being asked whether we've broken a window with our hand will increase the chance that we think it happened.

Def appreciated the additional details in the book that explained some of the things the movie left out. But to be fair it was because I liked the movie so much that I sought out the book.
