I don’t want it to end.

Meh. I don’t love what’s happening right now. This chunk of the story feels very out of place and feels like it’s been placed to set up Kvothe for some…err… necessary skills, which, quite frankly, I’m not loving that he’s learning from this particular teacher.

I can’t stress how much I love this book. I’m having a *stupendous* time.

I’m so happy I have eyes.

Can’t believe I used to be afraid of big books. I’m excited about this here chonk. 🤤

What a strange book.

This story never drew me in. It had all the makings of one that should ... but it did not. I am not sure why this never happened. Maybe I’ll come back to it at some point in the future.

Kinda enjoying it, kinda not?

I can see how this would have excited a teenage me. The attempts at wit and the "fun" narration but meeeehhhhhh. It doesn't have the magic - no pun intended - that Harry Potter does.

Meh.

I could read this faster...but it's so good! I'm slowing down to take in every word! JK has me on a hook.
