This author was a different style of writing than I've ever read before. Slightly confusing, but agreeably enjoyable.

Humor, snark, shyness and the heat is building. In public! Now that's hot!

Very well written...so far. Interesting plot and a gradual character development. Lots of humor, which makes the reading go quicker.

A second earthquake has hit, this time in the San Francisco region!

This story actually consists of many smaller stories that make up the larger plot. Thus, the wide variety of characters. There is an assortment of folks: teens who are willing to sacrifice themselves for others, opportunists, thieves, newlyweds, politicians, military, pregnant women and many more. But the authors have written the plots so well that the reader is able to keep track of everyone.

This book has so much happening it's really keeping me on my proverbial toes. I won't get into everything now, but I'll do my best when I review the novel.

Old California is still shaking. Lots of characters in dubious and deadly situations. The Governor tries a publicity stunt that backfires, leaving two people dead. (And he's already unpopular.)

Liam, one of the two MCs, is such an amiable schmuck, with all his fears and anxiety regarding intimacy. One can't help but like him.

So far, a very well written story with great characters and an interesting plot.

Great beginning. Catastrophe stikes California big time.

A very nice beginning to this story. The writing is crisp, clean and intelligent.

This storyline is rich with multiple emotions, characters and suspense. It also touches heavily on bigotry, hate and aggression aimed at gays.

Younger brother notices underaged girl. Said brother becomes involved with a gang, selling illegal drugs. Brother gets caught, goes to jail. Girl is pregnant by incarcerated brother.

Desperate girl gets tossed out of her home by her mother, a religious case. Girl turns to older brother for some help. Older brother agrees, putting her up in younger brother's room. Heat begins to build. Ooops!

So much going on right now. Love, danger, death threats and heat. Not to mention (but I will) a meth lab explosion! It's enough to make my head hurt, but in a good way.

Thy two concurrent plot lines are a bit challenging to keep focused, but I find this to be an enjoyable read.

Interesting concept for a novel. A tad confusing at the start, but now I'm in the groove.

The two MCs, Micah and Cole, are hiding their relationship as Cole is a teacher at the town's high school and fears getting labeled gay in a school environment.. Micah doesn't like hiding, but agrees to keep their lives together on the down low...for now.

Off to a good start. Hopefully the characters develop a bit more and become defined. I'm already crazy about Micah and Jay. Jay is just too much fun.

Okay, Bobby and Jimmy finally generated some real heat. But then the "hot head" in Jimmy leads to serious repercussions for Bobby. Can the duo survive the fallout?

Between Bobby and Jimmy, I don't know who's more stubborn. Get your feelings out of the perverbial closet and tell each other how you both REALLY feel about one another already. You're killing me here!!

Tragedy has struck the happy lives of Troy and Franco. Can they overcome this adversity and be happy once again?
