older me is appreciating the fondness younger me would have had and still enjoying the read

psa: if someone is problematic in an unapologetic, informed manner without even bothering to think about them in the wrong or changing their ways . . . I don't want to support them

hence my spree of updating reviews/adding info to book stuff so at least people can have the knowledge about an author if, like me, they prefer to read stuff from unproblematic people

oop is this when Mal's personality starts souring for me? I think it is

I forgot how much BETTER this one is compared to the first book

not to brag or anything but I'm probably gonna finish this in an hour or less

I am appreciating Mal's character more this time around but if I remember correctly such feelings of mine tend to sour later/in the third book??

you can tell the writing quality has improved bc what made for a fast-forward feeling of events in the first book doesn't feel the same way for similar plot development here
