no one told me this was a book in verse and I wasn't smart enough to fully read the blurb

just put all the "Court Of" Maas books on hold at the library prepping for a reread/catch-up and YES the reviews will probably be A Court of Rants and Salt

surprisingly not as cringe as I thought it would be

the storytelling style threw me off at first but so far this is giving me all the vibes I hoped it would

all right Goodreads I can accept shut downs and lack of notifications, but the search not giving me results?? unacceptable

I remember thinking Warner was THE WORST when I first read this . . . but now I'm thinking that he's the only character who I can relate to the most bc so far Juliette and Adam are nothing but buckets of old YA tropes & cliches while Warner is doing his best to stay sane around them.

oh my goshhhhhh I am literally split on this book because on one hand CLICHES EVERYWHERE but the other hand . . . stunning writing and purple prose that's just hitting me right

Juliette as a character is laughable. The writing?? Superb.
