Trying to speed run the GAs for both books as well - gotta get ready for onyx storm release!

Kuang is 3edgy5 me I’m only liking like 3 stories out of like the 10 we’ve read so far :(

I am so confused by everyone’s every place and every thing’s names it’s giving me ptsd of trying to read order of the phoenix with a dictionary and a index of all the characters lol

Usually classics are hard to get through but this book is so well written even by modern standards and —funny? Need to speed run the audiobook for book club tomorrow but plan on re-reading more closely!

Main character is like a female Mr. Ripley but I found none of the characters likable enough to root for them. Not very gripping.

Reading I will make you proud for book club. It’s such an interesting premise but really mid writing 😭 cannot wait for book club to be over so I can read better stuff!

Don’t know why I waited so long to read the last amor towles book I haven’t read. It’s so good. So sad.

The author is so consistent it is so far the same exact as the guest list! And also the club by a different author.

Had to skip a story or two this selection is 2 edgy 4 me tm 😅 the story by the starling house author was really good though

What a beast of a book. The Indian pachinko. I can’t remember if pachinko felt this epic and expansive of a story

Everything on my currently reading is infuriating atm. Idk what’s the most infuriating these instigators and turncoats from this book or the 600k words dramione fanfic that 300k words in they still don’t know how they feel about each other
